I've been on the road on and off for the past couple of months, so
apologies if this one was already posted and I missed it.

How's this for a stocking stuffer? A portable DVD player that projects
the movie right before your eyes through a device embedded in your
glasses. 

It may sound far-fetched, but Mark Spitzer is already making the
technology work in industrial applications and hopes to put it at the
top of next year's holiday gift lists.

Looks like affordable HMDs (courtesy of MicroOptical Corp) may yet hit
the mass-market in our life-time!
