One thing about the clothes hanger for a mount is that it really needs to be wrapped in some foam to be comfortable for long term use. Maybe the use of the street headphones will be more comfortable. (also if you have a lot of hair, you may not notice the bare wire as much) Last night I found an old pair of sunglasses that inspired a variant on the glasses mount M1: These glasses are small and have small lenses. I popped one lense out and popped in the m1. Oila! a perfect, snug fit. I ran the cable down the bow and wrapped it in e-tape. I still use the old M1 hand held version with the thick cable. the thick cable makes it impossible to fold down the one bow. But maybe the new version with the thin cable can be folded. If so, you could take the glasses off and put them in your shirt pocket. For the stability, comfort and centered positioning, this is my new favorite m1 mount. Incidentaly, we sell virtually no M1 glasses mount version (tekgear calls them hh or hand helds) which suprises me. Everyone seems to want the standard one. True, the standard v lends itself to e-tapeless mounting. But even for mounting on the rim of a baseball cap, the glasses mount seems more efficient. I wonder if the names, "hand held" and "glasses mount" are misleading or limiting. Perhaps "unimount" is better as one does not need to mount it on glasses or hold it in the hand. What are you thoughts on this matter? Glasses mount or standard? Did you buy one and wish you had the other?
